The Autograph Collection made its debut in Thailand this September with the opening of the Madi Paidi Bangkok, an urban boutique hotel.

In late September, Club Med announced its plans for the first-ever resort in Africa. The Club Med Tinley will be located in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, a regional known for its natural beauty.

Marriott announced a partnership with EV Connect to expand its electric vehicle charging stations across North America.

Kind Traveler, the responsible hotel booking platform, launched a new intiative in September called Every Stay Gives Back. Participating hotels and resorts donate a portion of every booking, no matter the platform or booking method, to a local charity or nonprofit.

Hilton made the announcement in September that it was working to update its website and apps to provide transparency on mandatory fees.
