The Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN) will unveil a complimentary series of weekly marketing Webinars designed to educate its ever-growing membership on new ways in which to capitalize on social media platforms and online marketing tools to grow their businesses. The program, which has also already been introduced to OSSN chapter directors, will be offered to all agent members in May.
"We launched this addition to our robust training program to further support our increasing number of OSSN chapters and chapter directors who expressed interest in learning new ways to facilitate more online communication and engagement amongst their active OSSN chapter members," said Dic Marxen, president and CEO of CCRA, which acquired OSSN and the Travel Retailer Universal Enumeration Systems (TRUE) from Gary and Melody Fee early last year. "As OSSN continues to expand, we remain committed to providing independent travel professionals with the latest industry tools and training to make them more successful, competitive and profitable."
In the last six months alone, CCRA said OSSN added five new chapter directors, with plans for 10 new chapters also underway. Furthermore, since the CCRA acquisition, OSSN has experienced a 20 percent increase in member renewals and new member registrations over 2013.
CCRA also said that increasing numbers of OSSN members are obtaining TRUE codes and using CCRA's products, which include commissionable online hotel and air reservation portals. TRUE, which recently expanded into Mexico and is one of four agent ID programs in the U.S., will soon be available to agents in Argentina, South Africa and Canada.
The new webinars, meanwhile, will be led by marketing expert Margie Jordan, founder and owner of Jordan Executive Travel. "We were thrilled to have aligned ourselves with Margie Jordan, who has been extremely well received by our chapter directors for providing her first-hand knowledge and easy step-by-step training instructions during these training Webinars, which encourage even more communication and collaboration between our growing number of travel agent members," said Marxen.
"I know first-hand how important it is for travel professionals to remain up-to-date with their online communication and digital marketing skills in order to stay competitive and relevant in engaging with today's tech-savvy online consumers," said Jordan, adding that the webinars include first-hand information on marketing techniques she has used to grow her own independent travel business.
Agents interested in joining OSSN and applying for the TRUE code can take advantage of a limited-promotional rate of $279.
