Travel Leaders Group said the fourth and final module or of its Travel Leaders of Tomorrow program is currently underway.
The goal of Travel Leaders of Tomorrow is to attract and train new travel agent talent.
The fourth module focuses on cruises, with course work from Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Avalon Waterways and Viking Cruises.
Travel Leaders said some students have already been placed into Travel Leader agencies.
"While we're thrilled that the fourth and final module of Travel Leaders of Tomorrow's virtual campus is officially underway, we're particularly proud that more than a dozen of our students have already been placed into agencies affiliated with Travel Leaders Group," said Heather Kindred, program director for Travel Leaders of Tomorrow. "This clearly demonstrates that the initial goal of the program is being realized. Bringing new talent into the travel industry has never been more important among our agencies, many of which are facing a shortage of talented agents in the near future."
Travel Leaders of Tomorrow's virtual campus activities features study halls, coursework on successful selling practices, and guest faculty including agents from Tzell, Vacation.com and Nexion.
Participants have completed Marriott's Hotel Excellence, Globus family of brands University and Delta University.
To complete Module Four, prospective agents must finish assignments in the Azamara World Academy, Celebrity Five Star Academy, Royal Caribbean International's University of WOW, Norwegian Cruise Line's NCL University and Viking Travel Agent Academy.
Module One was launched in April, Module Two in August and Module Three in December.
