Luxury line Seabourn has released its Seabourn Quest from drydock with a complete renovation, updating public spaces, restaurants, Spa and suites to enhance the onboard experience.

Seabourn Quest will continue sailing the Mediterranean through November 2026, offering seven-day voyages to places like Dubrovnik, Venice, Istanbul and Athens, which can be combined to create 14-day or 21-day itineraries.

"This drydock represents an investment that reflects our unwavering focus on elevating every aspect of the guest experience," said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. "Seabourn Quest has always had a loyal following, and we wanted to enhance the spaces where our guests spend their time on board, from the feel of their suite to the atmosphere of The Club in the evening, to ensure they have the best experience at sea when they sail on this beautiful ship."

What's New Inside the Seabourn Quest?

The ship, which set sail in 2011 and carries 458 guests, underwent the brand's most significant renovations. The Club has been reconfigured and redesigned, inspired by speakeasies to provide a fun place for live music and socializing.

Throughout the ship, guests will enjoy new carpeting, sound systems, lighting and more. Seabourn Square and The Observation Bar were both updated with new seating. The pool area's teak decking has been rejuvenated. The Spa offers new gym equipment, an updated salon and more.

The Colonnade and The Restaurant both offer new designs that enhance the refined feel of each dining venue. The Colonnade now highlights live cooking, so guests can watch as the talented chefs prepare their meals.

Suites have been refreshed with new mattresses and new wool carpets. Penthouse and premium suite guests will also note the addition of new furniture on their verandas.

Sustainability During the Seabourn Quest's Refurbishment

In addition to improving public and private spaces on board, the cruise line worked to ensure that many of the materials it was replacing would be reused rather than discarded.

Over 20,000 square meters of replaced carpet have been saved from landfills and will be repurposed into new carpet padding—the cushioning that goes underneath carpeting—for future renovations.

The suites' new wool carpet is a biodegradable Cradle to Cradle Dansk Wilton carpet, ensuring a closed-loop lifecycle without harmful microplastics. All mattresses that were replaced have been deconstructed for recycling. In addition, the replaced lounge furnishings have been donated to an Italian non-profit, ensuring that nothing that can be reused is thrown away.
