Travelers looking to explore one of Asia’s most captivating cities now bring a friend along for practically free, thanks to Alaska Airlines’ latest flight deal.

The carrier is celebrating its upcoming route launch to South Korea’s Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) with buy one, get one fares on the route for a limited time.

The new flight will launch September 12 from the airline’s hub in Seattle (SEA), and fliers have until that date to take advantage of the BOGO deal. For the next couple of days, fliers who purchase an economy seat on the Seattle-to-Seoul route can book another ticket for a travel companion and only pay the taxes and fees.

Fares on the route for September are as low as $229 one-way, with an extra $160 in taxes and fees. Travelers should use the discount code SEOULBOGO when searching for flights.

For travelers who would rather book with airline points, the carrier is offering one-way award flights from just 20,000 Atmos points. Award flights must also be booked by September 12 to score the deal.

Both the BOGO and points deals only apply to itineraries of two people and are valid for travel between September 12 and December 15, 2025.

The new route launch is part of a larger initiative by Alaska Airlines to make its Seattle hub an international gateway. “From dozens of destinations across our robust network, guests can connect through our global gateway in Seattle for convenient nonstop service to Seoul Incheon–an important business market and one of Asia’s most dynamic cities,” said Kirsten Amrine, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of revenue management and network planning. “From Seoul, flyers can catch flights to additional Asian destinations with our global partners.”

The airline will use a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jet, operated by Hawaiian Airlines, with which it recently combined operations. Economy class on the aircraft has 266 seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. For those looking for a more upgraded experience, the jets also offer 34 suites with privacy doors in business class, with lie-flat seats and 18-inch entertainment screens.

Next year, the airline plans to launch several more international routes from Seattle, including to Rome, London, and Reykjavik
