Breeze Airways Adds Three New Cities and 19 New Routes

Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is expanding once again, this time adding a handful of new cities to its roster and more than a dozen new routes.

In an announcement shared today, the carrier said it will be adding service to Rochester, New York; Albany, New York; and Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, it is adding 19 new routes, which will include 13 non-stops and six one-stop/no plan change BreezeThru routes across the airline’s growing nationwide network.


David Neeleman, Breeze Airways' founder and CEO, said in a statement that the airline experienced significant growth in 2024 and looks forward to continuing that growth in 2025.

"We see great demand and opportunity for our premium product offering in secondary markets across the country and are excited to add Rochester, Albany and Memphis to our network,” Neeleman added.

From Akron-Canton, Ohio, to:

• Los Angeles (summer seasonal resumption, Thursdays and Sundays, starting May 22).

From Albany, New York, to:

• Charleston, South Carolina (Mondays and Fridays, starting June 13, from $493 one-way)
• Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (Thursdays and Sundays, starting June 5, from $493 one-way)

The new route announcement from Breeze follows on the heels of Breeze's January announcement celebrating its first full quarter of operating profit in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The airline said it achieved an operating margin of more than 4% in the fourth quarter thanks to strong demand for its unique business model, which brings direct air service to unserved and underserved secondary airports on its flagship fleet of Airbus A220 aircraft - one of the youngest, most efficient fleets in the industry.

Breeze Airline leaders believe there are hundreds of additional routes in the U.S. alone that could benefit from its unique service, leaving ample room for its continued growth.
