Airlines are expanding their route network as travelers begin to plan their getaways for 2025.
Carriers have added a significant amount of seats ahead of the Super Bowl, of course, but the rest of the month will see a handful of new flights added.
Here's a breakdown of what travelers can expect in the coming weeks.
Alaska Airlines
Amid its merger with Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines will launch new daily nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Mexico's Monterrey International Airport (MTY) aboard an Embraer 175 starting Thursday, February 13.
Allegiant Air
Ultra-low-cost carrier Allegiant will begin twice-weekly service between Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) starting on Friday, February 7.
One week later, Allegiant will launch new service between Colorado Springs Airport (COS) and St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) just outside of Tampa.
Avelo Airlines
Thriving startup carrier Avelo Airlines will give New Englanders a chance to warm up this winter by connecting Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, Connecticut with Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic beginning Friday, February 21. The new flights will operate twice weekly.

Breeze Airways
Fellow startup Breeze Airways will expand this month with twice-weekly flights between New Haven, Connecticut (HVN) and Jacksonville, Florida (JAX) and Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina (RDU). Flights between HVN and JAX will begin Thursday, February 6, while service between HVN and RDU will start on Friday, February 7.
Frontier Airlines
Frontier Airlines will offer new direct service between two Caribbean hotspots starting Saturday, February 15, flying once-weekly between San Juan, Puerto Rico's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) and V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU) in Antigua.
Southwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines continues to offer new routes ahead of its highly anticipated transformation, including service connecting Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) beginning Thursday, February 13 (daily service begins Thursday, March 6).

Spirit Airlines
Just days after Super Bowl LIX, Spirit Airlines will connect Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) with New York City's LaGuardia Airport (LGA) via daily service aboard an Airbus A320.
United Airlines
United Airlines will expand its strong Caribbean presence beginning Saturday, February 15, connecting Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) with Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM) in Dominica via once-weekly service aboard a Boeing 737-700.
