Starting December 1, Delta Air Lines is relaunching its
daily services to Lagos, Nigeria,
from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
With the resumption of daily service between New York and
Lagos and current flights coming out of Atlanta, Delta
will offer fourteen weekly flights between December and January and ten weekly
flights for the remainder of the winter.
Passengers on the upcoming Nigeria services from NYC will be
flying on one of Delta's Airbus A330-200S planes and will
have a choice of numerous flight experiences, including Main Cabin, Delta
One, Delta Premium Select, and Delta Comfort+.
Delta will also offer a number of entertainment, food, and
beverage options for these experiences, including specialty snacks and premium
beer, wine, and spirits.
Upgrades to Delta’s South Africa and Ghana Services
Delta is also upgrading its Ghanan fleet flying to Accra.
The enhancements include offering 30 percent more capacity by adding 1,000 more
seats on their Airbus A330-900neo planes, which already provide Delta One
Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
In addition to upgrading its Ghana fleet, Delta is
overhauling its South African fleet from Atlanta to Johannesburg and Capetown
by adding Airbus A350-900 planes and eight new Delta One Suite seats.
“These enhancements reflect our dedication to meeting the
evolving needs of our customers,” Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network
Planning Joe Esposito said. “We’re expanding our options for customers to
experience the premium service and elevated hospitality they expect from
Delta.”
