Southwest Expands Its Red-Eye Offerings for Summer 2025

Southwest is continue to diversify its new red-eye offerings, announcing even more overnight flights for the coming summer season.

The carrier announced 13 additional red-eye flights today, which brings the total to 33 for summer 2025.
The new slate of flights includes overnight service from Hawaii and the West Coast traveling east to various key Southwest cities.

The following overnight routes will be June 5, 2025:

• Honolulu to Los Angeles (LAX)
• Lihue, Hawaii to Las Vegas, Nevada
• Long Beach, California to Baltimore/Washington
• Ontario, California to Baltimore/Washington
• Portland, Oregon to Baltimore/Washington
• Sacramento, California to Orlando, Florida
• San Francisco to Baltimore/Washington and Nashville, Tennessee
• San Jose, Califormia to Baltimore/Washington
• Seattle to Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Houston (Hobby), and Nashville, Tenn.

The newly scheduled red-eyes add to the airline’s previously announced overnight flights, which are scheduled to begin  February. 13, 2025. The initial schedule will be available between the following locations:


• Las Vegas, Nevada and Baltimore/Washington
• Las Vegas, Nevada and Orlando, Florida
• Los Angeles, California and Baltimore/Washington
• Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee
• Phoenix, Arizona and Baltimore/Washington
  
  

In addition to today’s red-eye announcement, Southwest revealed that it will be adding more service to Cancun this summer.

On June 7, 2025, seasonal Saturday service is scheduled to begin between Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cancun, Mexico.

And finally, Southwest said it will resume seasonal service in multiple markets, connecting travelers to popular summer destinations. As part of that goal, some of the carrier’s routes have been expanded to daily service throughout the peak travel period.

Starting June 5, 2025, the airline is scheduled to return key seasonal routes with daily service between:

• Austin, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts
• Baltimore/Washington and Portland, Oregon
• Baltimore/Washington and Seattle, Washington
• Dallas, Texas and Seattle, Washington
• Denver, Colorado and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
• Denver, Colorado and Savannah, Georgia
• Nashville, Tennessee and Seattle, Washington
