A Southwest Airlines crew member has gone viral for all the right reasons.

Flight attendant Nicholas Demore brought some much-needed entertainment to the pre-flight safety demonstration on a November 9 flight from Dallas to Las Vegas without even saying a word.

A two-minute video captured by Samantha Lynch Kintner during a scheduled stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico shows Demore dancing through the typically mundane routine, wrapping the seatbelt around his neck as if it were a boa and strutting down the aisle like a runway model.

"Everyone thought he was hilarious," Kintner told WISTV. "He was funny throughout the flight."

His silly display was made all the more hilarious by his fellow flight attendant's narration. So far, the video has garnered more than 78,000 views on Facebook.

Demore says his singular goal is to give passengers something to smile about and credits Southwest for making his magnetic performance possible.

"With what is happening in today's world, people need to smile more and that is why I do my fun safety demo. Every passenger has a story, and you never know what someone is going through on a day-to-day basis," said Demore via WISTV. "Their travels can be taking them on vacation, girls weekend, or a golf trip, but they could also be going to see a friend in the hospital, to take care of their elderly parents, or even a funeral."

"I love being able to make them forget their troubles or enhance their trip just by being me, and Southwest lets me bring my personality to my job."

The good news for air travelers is that Southwest has apparently given Demore and others the green light to continue the steamy safety demonstrations.

"Our employees are known for their fun-loving attitudes, and we love that he has created such a lighthearted and memorable experience for Southwest customers," an airline spokesperson told WISTV via email.

Other airlines, including Air France, Air New Zealand, British Airways and Delta Air Lines have gotten creative with their safety videos in the past. However, anyone would be hard-pressed to outdo Demore's live exhibition.
