An airline seatbelt as a fashion accessory?
Leave it to the French.
Air France has introduced a new in-flight safety video, and while many airlines have gone to extravagant lengths with their safety instructions to keep passengers interested in this vital information, this one goes to another level.
France is known for fashion, and in this four-minute video the haute couture is evident. Where else would you find out that wearing your seatbelt would "elegantly highlight your waistline?"
And where else would you find wearing a life jacket so tres chic?
The entire safety video is set to the song "Love is in the Air" and jibes with Air France's new brand motto, "France is in the Air."
