Virgin Atlantic unveiled the first of four new Airbus A330-200 planes Monday, dubbed the Daydream Believer.
The new aircraft arrived at Gatwick Airport for finishing touches before it enters service in March. Virgin officials also announced that two other planes, called Scarlett O'Hara and Honky Tonk Woman, are expected to join the fleet over the next few weeks.
Another aircraft, the Strawberry Fields, will be added to the fleet in spring 2018.
"We're thrilled to be welcoming four A330-200s to the Virgin Atlantic fleet this March," Virgin Atlantic EVP Phil Maher said in a statement. "These aircraft will add resilience to our flying program in light of an industry-wide shortage of Trent 1000 engines used on our Boeing 787 aircraft."
"Featuring our iconic Virgin Atlantic livery and crewed by our world-class pilots and cabin crew, these aircraft will offer our award-winning food, drink, and in-flight entertainment," Maher continued. "The Upper-Class cabin introduces three new styles of seating for customers to choose from, as well as extra touches such as a barista style coffee menu and free Wi-Fi messaging. The Economy cabin offers 222 seats, and we're investing in a premium economy cabin for each aircraft, to be fitted towards the end of the year."

Each of Virgin Atlantic's new Airbus A330-200 planes will feature 19 fully flat beds in Upper Class, 45 extra leg room economy seats and 222 economy seats. All of the aircrafts being added to the fleet will also be fully Wi-Fi enabled and feature Zodiac in-flight entertainment.
The A330s will initially operate flights from Manchester, England, to New York, Boston, San Francisco and Barbados.
