AirGrub is slowly taking over the nation, much like that hunger that ever so slightly takes over moments before your respective flight.

Well, it seems you can solve the hunger with an app that allows you to guarantee you are fed what you want amid the first leg of your travels.

And, according to a press release, the service is spreading to the east coast while also adding more immersive measures for its users.

Now before we give you the good news, let's delve into the particulars behind the technology for the uninitiated.

AirGrub is a way to order food at the terminal of your departure via your smartphone, which is now available for use at three airports nationwide.

For example, you can hop on your phone and order from Napa Farms Market if you are flying through Terminal 2 at SFO, later picking up your bag o' goodies at the AirGrub VIP Pick Up location.

As we mentioned, the app that launched in July is growing its business, now including service at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and Logan International Airport in Boston.

The good news continues for users who fly via American Airlines. The release unveils a "new promotion to offer miles on two leading programs, including American Airlines AAdvantage where members can earn up to four miles per dollar spent through AirGrub."

Surya Panditi, founder and CEO of AirGrub, spoke to the news, via a release: "With the busiest travel season of the year upon us, the demand for high-quality meals on-the-go will continue to grow."

Panditi continues, "Now when travelers check in for their flight on their smartphone or request an Uber to the airport, they can also order a healthy, delicious meal from the AirGrub app so it's hot and waiting for them on the other side of security check. San Francisco travelers have fully embraced the on-demand food ordering model since we launched in July and we're excited to bring the service to the East Coast."

Now AirGrub boasts of 18 participating restaurants throughout three national airports. For those heading through any of the above cities, you might consider skipping the line that adorns these airport restaurants.

If you are running late or just want more time to send that critical email, you can order your food on the ride over to the airport and have it all ready for you when you arrive.

Technology just became delicious.
