Azamara Cruises has unveiled its cruises for the spring, summer and fall of 2028.
The line-up includes expanded offerings in Asia, as well as 12 maiden ports across Europe and Asia aboard Azamara Quest and Azamara Onward. Together, the voyages include more than 360 late nights and overnight stays, representing 53 percent of total port days.
Guests who book early can save up to 30 percent with Azamara Cruises’ Early Booking Bonus.
For the first time in company history, Azamara Cruises will operate a full season in Asia, with 33 sailings aboard Azamara Pursuit to destinations in Japan, South Korea and China. Azamara will also offer 85 European cruises, including 10 Grand Voyages and 48 country-intensive itineraries across destinations like Greece, Italy and Croatia.
The 2028 season introduces 12 maiden ports, including Caen, France; Sokcho, South Korea; Tokushima and Miyazaki (Aburatsu), Japan; and Delphi (Itea), Greece.
Select itineraries feature extended scenic cruising along routes such as the Guadalquivir River into Seville, the Garonne into Bordeaux, the Seine into Rouen, the Yangtze River into Shanghai and the Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City.
The 2028 season also includes specialty cruises around events like the Grand Prix and the British Open.
“We are constantly refining our itineraries to deliver thoughtfully curated experiences for our guests,” says Michael Pawlus, head of itinerary planning for Azamara Cruises. “Our country-intensive sailings in regions like Greece and Italy remain a core part of what we offer, and with the addition of Asia-focused itineraries in 2028, we’re expanding the range and depth of destinations guests can experience across our deployment.”
Also this week, Azamara announced that it’s continuing to introduce new onboard entertainment across its fleet. Following the successful launch aboard Azamara Pursuit last month, Azamara Journey becomes the second ship in the fleet to debut new original stage productions created in partnership with RWS Global.
Two new productions—“Rendezvous in Paris” and “Cinemaphonic”—are debuting aboard Azamara Journey during its Spain intensive cruise visiting Barcelona, Ibiza and Majorca. They join fleet-wide shows “Written in the Stars” and “Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions.”
Following the debut aboard Azamara Pursuit and now Azamara Journey, the new shows will continue rolling out across the fleet aboard Azamara Quest on November 26, 2026 and Azamara Onward on April 13, 2027.
“Entertainment is an essential part of the onboard experience, and we’re excited to continue evolving our programming aboard Azamara Journey,” says Simon Blacoe, vice president of hotel operations at Azamara Cruises. “These new productions bring together incredible talent, memorable music, and immersive storytelling to create dynamic performances that guests can enjoy throughout their sailing.”
