Carnival Cruise Line is making getting onto a fun ship easier with its new Fly2Fun air program.
Guests who travel with Carnival will be able to utilize the Fly2Fun program to select the flights that best fit their trip itinerary in conjunction with the cruise line. The new program gives passengers better value, more choices and easier booking capabilities.
Fly2Fun from Carnival also offers guests many different options when customizing their flight reservations, including picking the air carrier, departure point, flight schedule and which class seating they'd prefer.
In addition to customizable options when booking, passengers will also receive immediate confirmation of their reservations, making it easier than ever to keep everyone on schedule as you travel.
The most intriguing part of Fly2Fun is the Flight Protection Program. If a customer misses their departure flight due to mechanical issues or weather-related delays, Carnival will pay for air, hotel, transportation and meal costs for guests to meet the ship in the next port of call.
Carnival Director of Travel Operations Vicky Blanch released a statement about new program:
"Our new Fly2Fun program is a convenient tool that saves our guests valuable time when booking their flights while offering attractive features like the Flight Protection Program that provides peace of mind knowing we'll fly them to the next port should they miss their cruise."
Customers who want to use the Fly2Fun program will have two separate options when making a booking: Flexible Air and Restricted Air. Flexible Air packages includes the "Book Now - Pay Later" option (flight payment collected with the final cruise payment) and will feature no change fees for modifications made at least 60 days before departure.
On the other hand, the Restricted Air program tickets are non-refundable, must be paid for at the time of booking and change fees are based on the airlines' policies.
