Travel advisors learned more about Carnival Cruise Line’s new private destination, Celebration Key, during the “Your Peek at Paradise” event series.
The final event was held on Saturday in Chicago and brought together thousands of travel advisors, who attended both in person and virtually. Events were also held in Miami, Baltimore and Atlanta.
During the series, which was presented in collaboration with The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, 10 travel advisors were selected to attend a VIP early-access trip before Celebration Key opens to the public.
Travel advisors also made donations to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the cruise line’s charitable partner, and receive commemorative “Travel Agents Rock” t-shirts.
“Seeing the enthusiasm from our travel advisors … reaffirms how special Celebration Key will be,” says Adolfo M. Perez, senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing for Carnival Cruise Line. “This destination represents an exciting new chapter for Carnival, and sharing an inside look with our loyal advisors is a significant part of our job. We can’t wait to see them bring the magic of Celebration Key to their clients when it officially opens.”
Celebration Key is located on Grand Bahama and is slated to open in July 2025. It will feature two freshwater lagoons, a white-sand beach, a 10-story “Suncastle” featuring two waterslides and Bahamian-operated retail, food and beverage options.
