Carnival Cruise Line has launched its “Your Peek at Paradise” summer series for travel advisors.
The series kicked off Saturday in Miami, with hundreds of travel advisors getting a preview of Celebration Key, the cruise line’s new private island destination on Grand Bahama.
Ships will begin visiting Celebration Key in July 2025.
“All five of our ships homeported in Miami will visit Celebration Key, so bringing our great travel advisor partners in South Florida together for this special event was a great way to deliver valuable insight to them as they help their clients plan their next vacations and the perfect way to start our business series,” says Adolfo M. Perez, senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing at Carnival Cruise Line.
At the event, travel advisors heard from Perez, as well as Glenn Aprile, Carnival’s senior director of brand experience and product development. They got a chance to learn more about the creative process behind Celebration Key.
Travel advisors also got to look at large renderings, watch an authentic Bahamian Junkanoo performance and munch on Bahamas-inspired food.
Travel advisors were also entered to win an early access trip to Celebration Key before it opens to the public, as well as other prizes. Ten grand prize winners will be selected during the summer series, while another 15 travel advisors will win a $500 Carnival gift card. Two of the grand prize winners and three Carnival gift card winners were announced at the kick-off event.
“Travel advisors are experts on what cruisers want, so their overwhelmingly positive reaction reinforces my confidence that Celebration Key will be a truly premiere destination,” says Perez.
The five-part series continues throughout the summer, with upcoming events scheduled for Baltimore on July 14, Atlanta on August 17, Chicago on September 14 and a virtual event on September 14.
