Carnival Cruise Line has launched a new interactive lottery system giving every eligible guest onboard its fleet the chance to win up to $1 million in a daily draw, called Carnival Millions. The new interactive lottery system uses TimePlay’s interactive entertainment technology connecting cruisers from Carnival’s fleet.
But how does it work? First, once a guest is onboard their cruise ship and connected to the ship’s WiFi, they can purchase one or multiple tickets for any of the upcoming draws that are taking place during their cruise. They must be at least 18 years old to purchase a lottery ticket.
Every day, all participating Carnival cruise ships in North America and Europe join the same draw, which is completed electronically. The system draws a winning number for the grand prize and a range of secondary prizes.
All winners who receive onboard credit to the potential $1 million jackpot, are immediately shown within the app, while major prize winners are contacted directly by the ships Casino and Guest Services teams.
