Luxury cruise line Crystal is offering two special wellness-centric sailings this December, offering guests a serene retreat in the Mediterranean and Africa.
The first wellness retreat sets sail on December 1 and sails for fourteen days from Barcelona to Tema, Ghana, stopping at Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde. The second wellness retreat itinerary sails December 14 from Tema in Ghana to Cape Town, South Africa, visiting Namibia along the way. Both sail onboard the newly renovated Crystal Symphony.
Along the way, travelers will enjoy plant-based meals, personal training activities, fitness classes, yoga and meditation workshops, dance classes and lectures from keynote speakers. Additionally, travelers heading ashore can take part in wellness-centric excursions such as nature walks, cooking classes and more.
The wellness retreats will be guided by special guests and wellness experts, such as Minna McHale, a globally renowned personal trainer, yoga teacher and mobility instructor; Jenni Demus, a yoga and mental health specialist; and Dr. Christine Houghton, a nutritionist and founder of the Institute for Nutrigenomic Medicine.
