African safari, or luxury cruise? Now, thanks to Emerald Cruises, you don’t have to choose.
The cruise line has unveiled a new 16-day itinerary that combines a safari in Kenya with a cruise in the Seychelles aboard the 100-guest Emerald Azzurra yacht. Called “Safari and The Seychelles,” the new itinerary will be offered from December 2024 to February 2025.
The trip begins in Nairobi with a two-night stay at the Samburu Game Reserve. After three guided safari drives within the reserve, guests will move on to Lake Nakuru National Park and Maasai Mara Game Reserve for even more wildlife viewing encounters.
After the safari, guests will board the yacht and set sail to explore the 115 islands that make up the Seychelles archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Stops include Sainte Anne Island, Cousin Island and Curieuse, to name a few. During this part of the trip, travelers can kick back and relax, while keeping an eye out for colorful fish and rare birds.
The trip is included in Emerald Cruises’ newly released 2024-2026 brochure, which is out now. The catalog features an array of itineraries aboard Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara, ranging from 15 to 24 days in duration.
