Azamara Club Cruises
The third ship from Azamara Club Cruises-the newly announced Azamara Pursuit-has added even more ports to its future lineup. In 2019, the ship will now make 276 calls in 74 countries. 77 will be late nights and 20 will be overnight stays.
Just added to the list of maiden calls are Alghero, Sardinia; Trieste, Italy; and Paula, Croatia. 2019 routes will include a short five-night getaway to Marseilles and Saint-Tropez, a 9-night Adriatic cruise from Italy to Greece and a 10-night Greek discovery sailing.
Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises is looking to 2019 and 2020 with some exotic destinations as well as those closer to home. The line's next ports of call can be found in Asia, Australia, North, South and Central America.
The Celebrity Constellation will be off to cover the ancient Spice Route to Singapore via Goa and Mumbai, India; Colombo, Sri Lanka; and beyond.
The Celebrity Eclipse will head towards South America and Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Antarctica around Cape Horn. The ship will also stop over in Hawaii from Vancouver and Los Angeles.
Covering the Panama Canal crossing will be the Celebrity Infinity between Ft. Lauderdale and San Diego. It will also visit Cabo San Lucas, Cartagena and Costa Rica.
Back in Asia, the Celebrity Millennium will take guests from Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore to destinations like Bangkok, Hanoi and Taipei.
Meanwhile, the Celebrity Solstice will go down under, returning to Australia and New Zealand. It will visit new places such as Eden, Australia, as well as some favorites like Wellington, Tauranga, Milford Sound, Sydney, Cairns and Melbourne.
Like the Eclipse, its Solstice sister-ship will also make a stopover in Hawaii from Vancouver.
If you'd rather go from point to point-Barbados to St. Thomas for seven days in this case-stops include Bequia and Mayreau, The Grenadines; Le Marin, Martinique; Deshaies, Guadeloupe; Gustavia, St. Barts; Virgin Gorda and White Bay, Jost van Dyke, B.V.I.
A shorter six-day roundtrip from Antigua alternatively goes to Sandy Ground, Anguilla; Gustavia, St. Barts; Virgin Gorda and White Bay, Jost van Dyke, B.V.I.
Later in 2019, SeaDream will be in the Med showcasing the best small yachts can offer: the Amalfi Coast, Adriatic (like transiting the Corinth Canal), Balearic Islands, Greek Islands (Santorini plus Hydra and Patmos), French Riviera, Spain (Santander, Bilbao, San Sebastian, etc.) and more.
