Unveiling of New Logo & Ship Livery

"Celestyal" means "of the stars," "heavenly" and "divine" - it defines the authentic Greek experience that the company provides. "Celestyal" honors the Ancient Greeks, one of the first civilizations to use celestial navigation, as does the brand's newly unveiled logo, which combines two iconic, eternal Greek images: the spiral, taken from seashells, and the windmills of the Aegean.
The Celestyal Cruises logo evokes the sea, the sun and the wind. It reaffirms our commitment to our Hellenic roots, and to supporting the economy and preserving the environment of each destination we visit. The spiral also symbolizes continued growth as a company. As they build the Celestyal Cruises brand, it will continue, as Louis Cruises, to operate in the chartering and ship management segments of the cruise industry.
The Louis Aura will retain her name and will continue her scheduled itineraries in France and Cyprus. Louis Cruises' two other ships, the "Thomson Spirit" and "Thomson Majesty," are under charter to Thomson Cruises of TUI AG.
