Parrotheads—and just anyone who’s generally enamored with the Margaritaville brand’s iconic island vibe and laid-back lifestyle proposition—will be delighted to learn that Margaritaville at Sea has launched a flash sale to coincide with the Labor Day holiday.
With its End of Summer Blowout Sale, the cruise line is offering three-day, two-night voyages from Palm Beach, Florida to Grand Bahama island in The Bahamas, priced as low as $99 for two people.
The promotion is valid on sailings that depart through April 29, 2024, but customers will need to hurry and book their cabin by September 5.
“With the summer season winding down, Margaritaville at Sea is bringing the sunshine back with their most popular flash sale of the year,” the cruise company wrote in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. “Margaritaville at Sea brings the Margaritaville brand’s iconic hospitality to the open ocean for a one-of-a-kind, floating offshore vacation experience.”
Cruise fares on sale start at $99, based on double occupancy, for a single interior cabin aboard a weekday departure, with a second guest’s fare thrown in for free as an added bonus.
Unfortunately for travelers looking for upgrades, the offer does not extend to bookings for suites, and the $99 base fare doesn’t include some ancillary charges, such as taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, or fuel supplements. And, in order to take advantage of the promotional rate, customers must make their payment in full at the time of booking. Certain blackout dates also apply.
Margaritaville at Sea, created in complement to the Jimmy Buffett-inspired Margaritaville Resorts & Hotels hospitality brand, made its initial debut in May 2022 with the launch of its flagship vessel, the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.
Earlier this year, the line also introduced the cruise industry’s first “season pass”, called the Ultimate Paradise Pass, which entitles pass holders and one guest to sail aboard an unlimited number of non-consecutive two-night sailings to the Bahamas from Palm Beach for a full year. There’s a bit of a catch to it, though. Pass holders need to have a pretty flexible schedule, since their departures can only be booked between 24 and 72 hours in advance of casting off, and some blackout dates do apply.
