Luxury operator Oceania Cruises announced a series of "creative plant-based menus" will be featured aboard its ships as part of the line's "OceaniaNEXT" program. The new menus will include more than 200 healthy selections.
The new plant-based choices will be available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Grand Dining Room and Terrace Café aboard each ship, and guests will also have plant-based options available upon request during dinner service in specialty restaurants aboard Oceania ships.
"These new plant-based options are flavorful, colorful, bold, and creative," said Bob Binder, Oceania's president & CEO. "Our hallmark finest cuisine at sea now provides an innovative and appealing menu of choices that reflect our guests' evolving palates and heightened focus on wellness while balancing our more decadent and extravagant dishes."
The new menu offerings complement Oceania's vegetarian, Canyon Ranch Healthy Living and Executive Chef cuisine selections. The new menus were developed by Oceania Cruises' culinary team in concert with world-renowned chef, culinary instructor, and author Christophe Berg.
The range of cuisine includes Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Italian, and Malaysian dishes.
Also included are healthy power bowls and poke bowls, hearty pastas, light and salads and soups and "decadent" including an impossible cheeseburger, truffle mac and cheese, and an apple-oatmeal crumble with plant-based vanilla ice cream and coco-vanilla cashew crème brulee.
