Princess
Cruises marked a major milestone today as Sky Princess—the line’s
first-ever Royal-Class ship to be based in Central Florida—officially
arrived in Port Canaveral to kick off a full season of Caribbean
sailings.
As of today, Sky
Princess is officially setting sail on six- and eight-night Caribbean getaways
from the Space Coast, running nonstop through March 2026. The seasonal runs are
already locked in for a second season next year, cruising again from November
2026 to March 2027, and all sailings are available to book now.
Luckily, Port
Canaveral is simple to reach—whether travelers are driving in, flying into the
area, or hopping aboard the Brightline train through Princess’ exclusive Rail
& Sail program. Travelers can also combine select Sky Princess sailings to
create two-week, 14-night adventures that hop through favorites like Turks
and Caicos, Puerto
Rico, St. Thomas, Amber Cove—and plenty more Caribbean stops along the way.
“Building on the
success of our inaugural Caribbean season from Port Canaveral, we’re delighted
to return to the Space Coast for another series of sailings,” said Jim
Berra, Princess Cruises’ Chief Commercial Officer. “Our guests appreciate
the convenience of cruising from Central Florida, and with the addition of Sky
Princess, we’re pleased to offer even greater capacity and even more ways
for guests to enjoy the Princess experience.”
“Princess Cruises
is a valued partner and we're very proud of the success they’ve had sailing
from our Port,” said Port Canaveral CEO Capt. John Murray. "Sky
Princess is a great addition to the lineup of cruise options from Central
Florida. We look forward to delivering a high-quality guest experience for
everyone sailing on this stunning new ship."
Weighing in at
141,000 tons and built for 3,660 guests, Sky Princess brings the cruise line’s
Royal-Class style to a new level, blending modern spaces with a lineup of big-ship
amenities. On board, it’s all about standout food, high-energy shows, and
thoughtfully designed accommodations that strike a balance between comfort and sophistication.
With award-winning dining, lively entertainment and stylish staterooms
throughout, the ship is built to impress travelers who expect a little extra
from their vacation.
