Seabourn Quest is preparing for her inaugural season in Alaska.

From May through September, the ship will offer 18 cruises in the region. The 7-day voyages will go between Vancouver, British Columbia and Juneau, Alaska.

Travelers who sail with Seabourn can take advantage of in-depth excursions and experiences led by a knowledge expedition team. Options include kayaking near Hubbard Glacier, hiking to Rainbow Falls in Wrangell and taking a scenic Zodiac Cruise to Sawyer Glacier or Dawes Glacier.

The ship can accommodate just 458 guests, and this intimate size allows Seabourn to take guests to lesser-visited ports.

“Alaska is a destination that evokes awe and wonder, and our 2025 season is designed to immerse our guests in its unparalleled beauty and cultural heritage in a way that only Seabourn can provide,” says Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “With our Ventures by Seabourn expedition experiences, we’re offering guests an exclusive opportunity to connect deeply with Alaska and British Columbia’s natural wonders when they sail with Seabourn.”

Seabourn Quest’s Alaska season will also be special for another reason: It marks the final cruise season of Jan Stearman, a long-time cruise director who is planning to retire. Stearman started her career aboard Seabourn Pride in 1995 and will make her final voyage on Seabourn Quest’s 7-day “Alaska Fjords & Canadian Inside Passage” itinerary departing August 1.

The company is also rolling out a new package that includes flying into Seattle a day early, then spending the night at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The package also includes transfers, breakfast and flights from Seattle to Juneau.

Several of the voyages are eligible for Seabourn’s wave season promotion, “The Sail of the Year Event.” Guests who book by February 18 can enjoy savings of up to 15 percent off and a $1,000 shipboard credit per suite.
