Windstar Cruises to Celebrate 10-Year Partnership with James Beard Foundation with Culinary Sailings in 2025

Windstar Cruises plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partnership with the James Beard Foundation in 2025 by offering five themed culinary cruises hosted by top chefs from across the country.

“We take pride in the numerous chefs who have sailed with us, shared their stories and crafted signature dishes—enhancing the culinary experience for all of our guests on Windstar,” says Chris Prelog, president of Windstar, which is the foundation’s official cruise line. 

The small-ship line will welcome five chefs to its ships for James Beard Foundation sailings next year: Jamilka Borges, José Mendin, Jennifer Hill Booker, Jennifer Jasinski and Larry Forgione. They’ll host dinners, offering onboard cooking demonstrations with recipes guests can take home and lead travelers on shoreside market tours.

The five chef-led sailings in 2025 are: 

• A 7-day “Windward Ways & Tobago Cays: Aruba to Bridgetown” itinerary with chef Jamilka Borges departing March 15 onboard Star Pride
• An 8-day “Spanish Symphony: Lisbon to Barcelona” cruise with chef José Mendin departing APril 12 aboard Wind Surf
• An 11-day “Baltic Beauty: Stockholm to Copenhagen” sailing with chef Jennifer Hill Booker departing June 29 on Star Legend
• A 9-day “Adriatic Archipelagos & Greek Goddesses: Venice to Athens” trip with chef Jennier Jasinski departing August 27 onboard Wind Surf
• A 12-day “Southeast Canadian Explorations: Montreal to New York” itinerary with chef Larry Forgione departing October 7 aboard Star Pride
