Voting Begins for Tahiti Tourisme's Online Video Contest

The polls are now open for the first round of Tahiti Tourisme's "Invest In Your Love" video contest, which will award the first of six trips to the legendary and exotic islands of Tahiti. The contest launched in April, inviting people to submit a video on why they need (and deserve) an escape to the islands of Tahiti. More than 25 original videos have been approved for voting - from heart-warming and sentimental to wacky and offbeat, they all make a plea for a trip to Tahiti. Videos can be viewed and voted on at www.investinyourlove.com.

"There are some really entertaining videos submitted," says Al Keahi, managing director or Tahiti Tourisme North America. "From talking dogs and Popsicles to heartfelt stories about dream honeymoons and long distance love, the videos are fun, inspired, and illustrate why these couples and families deserve a Tahitian vacation." Voting will be open from June 11-25, 2009. Videos that receive the highest number of public votes move on as finalists and an expert panel will select a winner.
