New aerial photos released on social media show the progress being made at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge themed land at Walt Disney World.
According to People.com, the photos of the Star Wars land at Disney's Hollywood Studios show several structures still under construction and the finishing details being added to several attractions, including the Millennium Falcon.
The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction is seen in the images nestled within a mountain-like structure, which will allow guests to sit behind the controls in one of three unique flight crew roles.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open at Disneyland in Anaheim on May 31 and at Disney World in Orlando on August 29. The themed land is called Batuu, an Earth-like destination on the galaxy's edge that has become the home of smugglers and other criminals.
Star Wars fans are also excited about the Rise of the Resistance attraction, but since both parks are opening the themed lands in phases, guests will have to wait until later in the year to experience the virtual battle between the Resistance and the First Order.
Those planning to visit Disneyland between May 31 and June 23 will have to make reservations to access the land, though guests staying at any of the park's three hotels will receive one reservation per guest with their booking.
