The Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for a busy spring
2027 season, with a new Disney Animation experience coming to Hollywood
Studios, along with special offers and the return of several seasonal events
across the theme park.
New Attraction at Hollywood Studios
The new Magic of Disney Animation opens on September 14 at
Hollywood Studios as part of a reimagined Animation Courtyard. Inspired by the
Walt Disney Animation Studios lot in Burbank, California, the experience will
feature interactive spaces, character encounters, and animation-themed
exhibits.
Travelers can explore “Off the Page!” to meet Disney
characters in areas modeled after different stages of animation production. The
attraction will also include “Olaf Draws!,” where visitors can learn to draw
characters with guidance from Disney Animation artists.
The new area also includes “Drawn to Wonderland,” an indoor
play space inspired by Alice in Wonderland concept art, as well as the Once
Upon A Studio Theater and an art gallery featuring animated Disney characters.
Spring 2027
For travelers planning a visit in Spring 2027, Disney World
is also rolling out seasonal offers designed to give guests additional options,
with discounts and package opportunities available during select travel
periods.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts returns January
15 through March 1, 2027, featuring visual, culinary, and performing arts
throughout the park. The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will also return to
the America Gardens Theatre, while Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game-themed
experiences will be part of the festival.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will
follow from March 10 through May 31, bringing character topiaries, gardens,
floral displays, Outdoor Kitchens, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series to the
park.
In addition, Disney After Hours will return to select nights
at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. The limited-capacity
events allow guests to stay in the parks after regular closing, with select
attractions, snacks, and bottled beverages included with admission. Magic
Kingdom will host events on select nights from January 11 through July 19,
Hollywood Studios from January 16 through August 25, and EPCOT from January 21
through August 19.
