to its summer lineup with the debut of the ‘Carowinds Summer
Music Fest amplified by Coke Studio’.
This multi-weekend
onsite music festival will remix the amusement park experience, offering guests

sensational live music performances throughout the season.
From chart-topping
artists to local bands and emerging talents, this musical extravaganza boasts a
star-studded lineup that’s set to grace the stage at the Paladium, Carowinds' iconic
on-site amphitheater.
Headlining performances
will come from such famous artists as two-time GRAMMY Award winner LeAnn Rimes, two-time
GRAMMY Award-nominated Skillet and global sensation Flo Rida, with more
renowned performers to be announced in the coming weeks. More than 30 artists have
already been booked to perform at the high-profile festival.
In collaboration
with Coca-Cola, each weekend of the musical celebration will feature brand-new
music-themed activations, promising an exhilarating immersive experience for
guests
"As the
ultimate destination for fun in the Carolinas, we're gearing up for an
exhilarating summer of music and thrills with the all-new Carowinds Summer
Music Fest amplified by Coke Studio," Manny Gonzalez, Carowinds vice
president and general manager, said in a statement.
"Get ready
for 10 days of sensational performances that will make Carowinds the place to
be this summer,” he added. “What's more, these incredible shows are free with
your park admission, guaranteeing a summer filled with entertainment and iconic
thrills."
The Carowinds
Paladium, steeped in a rich musical legacy dating back to its 1975 beginnings,
will serve as the epicenter of entertainment during the festival, hosting
concerts on five select weekends.
The first permanent
concert facility built at an amusment park, the Paladium has become renowned
for welcoming such cultural icons as Bob Dylan, Billy Joel and Mary J. Blige
during its nearly 50 years in existence. Now, with the introduction of Carowinds
Summer Music Fest amplified by Coke Studio, the Paladium continues to solidify
Carowinds' status as a premier concert destination.
Entry to the
festival will be included with park admission, providing guests with unparalleled
entertainment value. Season passholders can also take in these exciting
performances as part of their pass benefits.
Its 2024 Silver
Season Pass grants passholders unlimited visits to the Carowinds amusement park,
as well as the 26-acre Carolina Harbor Waterpark, throughout the year, and
includes complimentary parking through Labor Day.
