Disney Reveals Model of New Star Wars Land

Star Wars fans, rejoice! The Walt Disney Company has revealed a large-scale model of the two “Star Wars” themed lands coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
On Thursday, Disney officials in Anaheim, California, unveiled the model ahead of the upcoming 2017 D23 Expo. The reveal was part of a special ceremony and the model highlights the main attractions and rides on the 14-acre lands.

The Star Wars lands will become the largest single-themed land expansion for both parks and will feature two signature attractions, including a Millennium Falcon simulator and a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

The original plan for the Star Wars themed lands was announced in 2015, and the properties are expected to open to the public in 2019.
