Normally a flight delay leads to general groaning and subsequent high scores on Candy Crush. However, on a recent flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport the delay was glorious.
The following video features fellow travelers beset by an enormous delay. That they all made up the casts of Broadway's "Lion King" and "Aladdin" should signal that things are about to get good, really good.
Instead of moping around the area and texting anyone who might care about their horrible luck, they decided to sing some hits.
What transpires may just make a good script for "Pitch Perfect 3: Lost in New York."
The video was uploaded to YouTube by Julie L on June 3 and has, as of this writing, over 37,000 views.
Mashable's Neha Prakash reports the cast members really should have been in a more somber mood, because "their flight to Orlando was delayed six hours."
A delay like that usually ends with a swift walk to the nearest airport bar. Instead, and thankfully, the two casts decide an impromptu duel is in order.
And we have to give some added applause to "Aladdin's" front man who seems to be well adept at improvising.
We are even willing to forget that most of the lengthy video was shot vertically, because the singing makes this delightful delay acca-awesome.
