"New York City is a world-class culinary destination and our NYC Restaurant Week program, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this past summer, exemplifies this ranking and welcomes all to come and experience it first-hand," said Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company.

"Whether you're a visitor, meetings delegate or local resident, we invite diners to taste and explore New York City's incomparable restaurant scene across all five boroughs at a value this winter."

This season features 32 new restaurant participants: Almond Flatiron, Antonucci Cafe, Astor Court, Augustine, Babu Ji, 'Cesca, Fusco, Il Cortile Restaurant, La Pecora Bianca Midtown, Legasea, Loring Place, Massoni, Maxwell's Chophouse, Momofuku Ma Peche, Momofuku Nishi, Nickel & Diner, One Dine, Ortzi, Osteria della Pace, Paowalla Restaurant, Quality Eats-Upper East Side, Rice & Gold, San Carlo Osteria Piemonte, STK Rooftop, Suzuki, Tarallucci e Vino Upper West Side, The House in Gramercy Park, Tiny's & The Bar Upstairs, Tutto il Giorno, Vinateria, Yellow Magnolia Cafe and Yves.

"NYC Restaurant Week was the first dining program of its kind, and provides the restaurant industry with the opportunity to showcase the quality and hospitality that our establishments are renowned for," said Tracy Nieporent, partner and director of marketing for Myriad Restaurant Group and chairman of NYC & Company's Restaurant Committee.

"The dining community looks forward to welcoming patrons to experience and enjoy a variety of diverse restaurants across more than 40 neighborhoods this winter."

Returning due to popular demand this season is the NYC Restaurant Week Tasting Series, which debuted this past summer. The ticketed events will highlight restaurants within cultural institutions and will offer exclusive tasting menus for guests.

Ticket sales will benefit local charities City Harvest, Citymeals on Wheels and Food Bank NYC. Event details will be announced later this month.

NYC Restaurant Week will be promoted through content on NYCgo.com, digital and print advertising, and with out-of-home advertising on NYC bus shelters, street pole banners, LinkNYC screens, NYC taxicabs, Toshiba Vision in Times Square and PATH trains and stations.

Brand partners include booking partner OpenTable and culinary arts organization James Beard Foundation.

NYC & Company's creative campaign for NYC Restaurant Week features new taglines such as "Beat the Cold in Warm Company," "Best Paired with Best Friends" and "Some things are worth hailing a cab for," to excite potential diners this winter.

With American Express as a founding sponsor of NYC Restaurant Week, cardolders earn 5X Membership Rewards points per dollar spent during NYC Restaurant Week, up to 1,000 total points, from January 22, 2018, to February 9, 2018, by using your enrolled card at participating restaurants. Diners can follow @nycgo and @nycrestaurantweek on Instagram and @nycgo on Facebook and Twitter for NYC Restaurant Week content. An Instagram photo contest will award four weekly winners, one each week of the program, with $250 in gift cards from participating restaurants by using the program hashtag #NYCRestaurantWeek.

New Yorkers and visitors are also encouraged to seek out the ultimate-value week this winter, January 29 through February 4, when three of NYC & Company's signature programs align: NYC Restaurant Week, NYC Broadway Week and NYC Must-See Week.

Hotel savings are also available as the winter season offers the most attractive hotel rates of the year, particularly on the evening of Super Bowl Sunday (February 4). For all there is to do in NYC this winter, visit NYCGo.com/winter.
