Travelers love to find the scariest attractions during the Halloween season, but Six Flags St. Louis is offering a macabre contest for only the bravest visitors.
To win, guests must spend 30 straight hours inside a coffin.
Dubbed the Fright Fest 30-Hour Coffin Challenge, the contest will take place October 13 and force participants to spend the night inside a slightly used coffin. People taking part in the challenge will be provided with meals, phone charging stations and a six-minute bathroom break every hour.
Potential contestants must be 18 years or older, have a photo ID for verification and no medical conditions that could impact the competition. St. Louis coffin dwellers will be chosen October 4.
As for what participants could win, Six Flags announced prizes include two 2019 Gold Season Passes, a Fright Fest prize package, two VIP Haunted House passes and a ticket for two to ride the Freak Train for Freak Unleashed.
The overall winner will also be entered in a drawing for a $300 prize.
For travelers unsure if they would be able to spend the whole night inside the coffin, Six Flags officials said a theme park representative will be present at all times and guests will enjoy random visits from Fright Fest Freaks.
