Universal Orlando Resort released new details about the upcoming The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, one of the five new worlds coming to Universal Epic Universe in 2025.
The new world, which is set in Paris and the British Ministry of Magic, builds upon the previous The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, located within Universal Studios Florida.
Paris, Wizarding Style
Travelers will first step into the world from a Muggle park in Paris to wizarding Paris, in the 1920s, called Place Cachée. From there, they can enjoy sidewalk cafes, encounter fantastic beasts in a traveling circus, and step into magical shops. The streets of the Place will be filled with exchange students from Hogwarts and Ilvermorny Schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry, delightful wizards and even a suspicious Auror.
At Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, guests can shop Paris’s finest wands, created by artisan wandmaker, Cosme Acajor. After purchasing a wand, guests can immediately begin casting spells at various locations and interact with fantastic beasts and enchanted objects.
Additionally, the world of Harry Potter becomes even more magical with Le Cirque Arcanus, the first-ever live theater experience, with puppetry, aerialists, special effects and more. It tells the story of Ringmaster Skender, who steal’s Newt Scamander’s suitcase of magical creatures to try and revive his circus. Spectators will watch as circus employee Gwenlyn tries to rescue the creatures.

For the first time, park guests will also be able to use the Métro-Floo to step into 1990s London and the British Ministry of Magic with the new ride Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.
This new ride will continue parts of Harry Potter’s story with the trial of Dolores Umbridge. Travelers will enter the jaw-dropping Ministry of Magic before taking the omnidirectional lifts to watch the trial — until Umbridge attempts to escape. Guests will join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and a house-elf named Higgledy in their race to capture Umbridge, dodging attacks from Death Eaters and magical creatures.

Travelers heading to the new wizarding world can enjoy a variety of magical treats, beverages and souvenirs on offer.
Guests will delight in a magical twist on a French cafe at Café L'Air De La Sirène, which offers French sandwiches, plats du jour and desserts, or enjoy the darker side of wizarding Paris at Le Gobelet Noir, where Dark witches and wizards eat their meals. American travelers will enjoy the familiar comforts of Bar Moonshine, home to exclusive beers, wines and cocktails, while those looking to enjoy the staple drink of butterbeer can do so from the Bièraubeurre Cart, located on the streets.
Those wanting to bring home some more souvenirs can enjoy visiting the shop Les Galeries Mirifiques, K. Rammelle, a French confectionary shop, or Tour En Floo, which offers Ministry of Magic-inspired items.
