Netherlands, your breakfast is kid tested and very much kid approved.
The Awesomer spotted what has to be the world's most adorable tour of breakfast foods, featuring American kids who were asked to give various peculiar fare a go.
The results are beyond hilarious.
And we like to thank YouTube's Cut Video for the idea and Kitchen Bowl for apparently providing the chef who whipped up each dish.
Although we believe, according to the following reactions, they could have kept the coffee for the adults:
Now we thought this looked familiar. As it turns out, the producers were inspired by a New York Times article entitled "Rise and Shine: What kids around the world eat for breakfast," which we also wrote about back in October.
It introduced readers to the intriguing meals that start the day for young children around the world, highlighting how different the mornings are for youth around the globe.
Cut Video took that idea and ran with it, corralling some adorable kids and asking them to open their minds just a bit and chow down on some strange food.
We couldn't help but chuckle as the kids react strongly to what we adults queue up for at Starbucks on a daily basis: Coffee.
It reminds us of a simpler time when we craved hot chocolate and grimaced at the mere whiff of that adult concoction that was brewing in the kitchen.
Finland's salmon dish gets mixed reviews, with one observer noting that the bread was so soft it could be his pillow.
Now if we are talking about a winner across the board, we have to look no further than the Netherlands' Hagelslag.
You can almost see the guilt and wonderment in the kids' eyes as they consider having what is essentially dessert to start the day.
We imagine there are a few kitchen debates occurring at this very moment between parents and their children who don't understand why they can't have chocolate bread before school.
