The London skyline has a new pal in the form of the Leadenhall Building. Thanks to this nifty Internet machine, we get to see its infancy and completion all in the time it takes to prepare your afternoon tea.
Laughing Squid's Lori Dorn spotted a brilliant gem lurking about from filmmakers Dan Lowe and Paul Raferty, chronicling the construction of one of London's more unique buildings.
Now if you are in the habit of arguing terms like unique, we might as well echo Dorn's note that the Leadenhall Building also has the moniker "The Cheesegrater," because it, well, looks like a giant 48-story cheesegrater.

The YouTube description offers a bit more detail: "Shot over two years from different vantage points and through varying seasons and times of day, the timelapse film uses more than 320,000 images shot on DSLR cameras with a range of lenses (including tilt and shift, telephoto and extreme wide angle) to beautifully showcase the building and its impact on the London skyline."
