If there is a travel frontier left to conquer, just tell Mark Murphy. Not only will he cross it off his bucket list and pin it on his travels map, he will slay it in a fashion that would make Anthony Bourdain proud.
Our boss, the TravelPulse founder and CEO, is part of the historic expedition to Cuba aboard the first commercial cruise line allowed into the country, Fathom Travel. While he has made it clear he's a fan of their ship, the Adonia, Murphy like so many of the passengers are taking every opportunity to soak up the Cuban culture in Havana and beyond.
Communications from Cuba are still a bit lagging, but Murphy has been able to share a few gems on his Facebook feed.
This is his latest, as he was able to commandeer a couple of classic cars and cruise the roads of Havana playing music with his new friends.
"What an unbelievable experience thus far!" Murphy said of his budding adventure. "We're riding in vintage cars playing music! How incredible is this?"
