The delight is in the details at Ventus, the newest addition to the Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort complex in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.
The new addition debuted in November, and the elegant property brings a sophisticated flair to the classic colonial resort.
Perched at the edge of Puerto Morelos National Reef Park, one of the largest barrier reefs in the world, Ventus adds 290 luxury suites to the Marina El Cid complex and is the next generation in the El Cid family of resorts.
While style and sophistication are prominent in the design of the hotel, service and attention to detail are what guests will really enjoy during their stay.
"We treat all who visit as though they were a guest in our home," said rooms manager Ivan Bringas.
Travelers will be pleased to find spacious guestrooms that really give them the room they need to spread out, relax and enjoy their vacation.
Luxury and junior suites offer approximately 575 square feet of space, and each room sleeps four people with a king-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed or two double beds. Rooms also have private balconies or patio areas on the ground floor.
One-bedroom suites are even larger with more than 1,000 square feet of space. Each has a king-size bed, a queen-size Murphy bed, a balcony and an in-room Jacuzzi.
Two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites are each more than 2,000 square feet and offer a king-size bed, a bedroom with two double beds, three or four bathrooms, private balconies and independent living and dining areas.
All room categories have the option for swim-up suites which give guests direct access to a shared outdoor pool.
Guests can also choose to boost their experience with Platinum Club amenities. The upgrade includes dedicated butler service, high-end, spa-quality bath products, access to private lounges with Netflix viewing, drinks, snacks and more.
No matter where you stay within the resort complex, dining at Ventus is a highlight.
Coffee and confections are served up next door at Aromas. The cafe is a one-stop shop for the sweet tooth. Inside, guests will find an ice cream bar, a vast line-up of pastries and fresh coffee and tea that can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio.
Guests also have access to all of the restaurants within the Marina El Cid complex, including El Alcazar, La Alhambra, Hacienda Arrecife, La Trattoria Di Gulio and La Marina.
Along with the addition of Ventus to the El Cid Marina Resort, there is a brand-new kids club, a new teen club and an enlarged spa that offers a number of indigenous, one-of-a-kind experiences, including the 80-minute, four-hand Kukulkan Body Massage in a private, beachfront Palapa hut--a true delight for the weary traveler.
