BlueBay Hotels has expanded its portfolio of hotels with the recent addition of Hotel Reding Croma Barcelona.
The Hotel Reding Croma by BlueBay, as it is now known, is conveniently located in the heart of the city. It is the second BlueBay property in Catalonia and represents an important acquisition for the company insofar as its strategic plan to expand its offering by almost 50 percent, with more than 60 hotels in 30 cities and more than 50,000 beds by 2020.
"Barcelona and Madrid are the two most important Spanish cities for tourism, so having a hotel in Barcelona was one of the group's strategic objectives," explained Jamal Satli Iglesias, Chairman of BlueBay Hotels, in a recent release.
In the same release, Ramón Hernández, CEO of BlueBay Hotels, noted that "by integrating the Hotel Reding by BlueBay and its Croma concept, not only are we adding a strategically located asset to the our portfolio, but we're also reinforcing our continuous commitment to innovation and product differentiation as key factors in our expansion plan."
The boutique property is a design-lovers dream. Each of the hotel's 44 rooms is unique and created with special individual touches and details that set them apart from the herd. Each thoughtfully designed and spacious room comes equipped with a host of modern services, including a minibar, flat-screen TV with satellite channel and Movistar+, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The Hotel Reding has incorporated the concept of color symbolism throughout the property, using various colors to enhance the experience (i.e., green for calmness, orange for vitality, red for passion).
Thanks in part to its central location, Hotel Reding is ideal for families and business travelers alike. Standard Double Rooms can accommodate up to three people and offer either two single beds or a double bed, with views overlooking the Calle Gravina or an interior courtyard.
Double Deluxe Rooms are the most spacious, offering guests up to 258 square feet of space, as well as a complimentary bottle of cava, a sparkling white wine, upon arrival. Superior Rooms are the most-recently renovated. Guests staying in a Superior Room can experience the Croma Bathroom, which is equipped with a thermostatic shower with LED light strips, an anti-fog mirror and other top-shelf amenities.
Guests are also treated to a complimentary bottle of cava, as well as a snack in the GastroBlack Restaurant. Additional features include a business center and gym for those looking to stay fit while traveling.
