Delta Air Lines plans to operate its largest-ever summer schedule at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), with more connections and premium experiences than ever.
First are the new routes: Delta will offer over 200 daily departures during the peak summer travel period, with new daily nonstop routes to Monterey starting December 19, 2026, and new daily nonstop service to Philadelphia beginning June 7, 2027.
The airline is also increasing summer flights to Raleigh-Durham, Boston, San Diego, Cincinnati, Houston, San Antonio and Seattle. In the autumn, Delta will increase service to Melbourne and Auckland, offering daily flights from LAX.
“We’re continuing to invest in more ways for customers to experience everything California has to offer,” said Amy Martin, Vice President of Network Planning at Delta. “With new service to Monterey from both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, alongside our continued growth at LAX, we’re creating more opportunities for customers to connect to the places they want to go while building on our long-term commitment to Los Angeles and the West.”
Beyond new routes and increased flights, Delta’s increasing its presence and premium offerings at LAX. Delta just unveiled its $2.3 billion Sky Way at LAX, connecting Terminals 2 and 3.
For Delta One customers, LAX is the only airport currently offering two Delta One Lounges. These fliers can also enjoy a new California wine program onboard.
