Club Med has signed an agreement to build the first Exclusive Collection resort in Thailand, opening in Koh Samui in 2028.
The new all-inclusive resort is being built and managed under a hotel management agreement with Central Group Capital. As an Exclusive Collection resort, it'll be the third in Asia and the second Club Med property to open in Thailand.
Just 25 minutes from Koh Samui Airport by car, the new resort will be inspired by Thai heritage and nature, with family-centric programming and more. It will offer 303 different rooms, new dining concepts and over 200 meters of private beach.
"This exceptional beachfront property marks an exciting expansion of our portfolio," said Stéphane Maquaire, President and CEO of Club Med. "It strengthens our leadership in premium all-inclusive travel while supporting sustainable destination growth and local communities."
Club Med's Exclusive Collection is the brand's higher-scale luxury all-inclusive resorts.
Earlier this year, Club Med also announced it would be opening a second Club Med ski resort in French Canada, called Club Med Tremblant, in 2028.
