Las Vegas is on a heater.
Whether it's landing professional sports franchises, securing Internet-breaking residencies or unveiling one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts, the Entertainment Capital of the World just keeps upping the ante.
The latest high-profile debut in Sin City is the $3.7 billion, 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort and casino, a sister property to the famed Fontainebleau Miami Beach that's been in the works for more than two decades.
Situated on a whopping 25 acres at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip across from the Circus Circus Hotel—about two miles north of the iconic Bellagio Fountains—the 3,644-room Fontainebleau Las Vegas will open its doors on December 13, 2023.
This week, the resort announced its latest game-changing feature, the Fontainebleau Fleur de Lis suite collection, which will offer guests a six-star experience spanning the tower's top five floors.
Suites will range in size from 1,000 square feet to the 10,000-square-foot Penthouse. Designed by David Collins Studio in collaboration with Fontainebleau Development’s Executive Vice President of Design John Rawlins, the suites boast gracefully shifting ceilings, transitions from solid to plush floor finishes and a unique blend of dark and light color schemes.

- Personal valet services in addition to personal concierge service for arranging tickets, reservations, and more, all within the comforts of the suite.

Additionally, Fleur de Lis offers specially designed children’s china, petite Fleur de Lis robes, high-quality high-chairs, playpens, and bassinets, in addition to board games and PS5 gaming options for entertainment.
"Fleur de Lis is the new standard for design and bespoke experiences on the Strip, a natural extension of our brand that reflects Fontainebleau's decades-long legacy as a leader in design, service, and luxury," Fontainebleau Development President Brett Mufson said in a statement. "In conceiving Fleur de Lis, we were inspired by the grandeur of our first hotel and assembled a global team of world-class designers to personally curate every touchpoint and amenity, so the experience is unlike anything else we have created."
"We are proud to say Fleur de Lis is a masterpiece, with meaning behind every detail and design choice, and we cannot wait for guests to discover what we’ve created for them," said Mufson.

"The journey to Fleur de Lis starts at the David Collins Studio-designed ground floor check-in, introducing the materials and colour palette as a recognisable design vocabulary that flows through to the suites," added David Collins, Studio Chief Creative Officer, Simon Rawlings.
"The Fleur de Lis suites have been designed with a consistent theory of architectural finish which builds upon The Studio’s overarching concept for Fontainebleau Las Vegas: a new and unique interior architecture that directly references, and yet reinterprets, Morris Lapidus’s iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach property and his wider architectural oeuvre," Rawlings continued. "This concept is elevated for Fleur de Lis, imbued with a residential feel and emphasis on guest wellness. Complete with private arrival vestibule, bar and spa, the Fleur de Lis suites are the ultimate in luxury accommodation."
"A palette of coastal blues and ripple-patterned glass evocative of water subtly references the beachfront location of the 1954 original Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Each suite is a series of considered and beautifully balanced rooms that continue David Collins Studio’s exploration of contrasts: chiaroscuro; compression and expansion; luxurious stones and fabrics. These contrasts draw guests through the suites, creating an engaging and ever evolving guest experience," concluded Rawlings.
