WHY IT RATES: Guests at the Kimpton Sanary Santa Barbara can now sail around Santa Barbara's majestic coastline aboard a 50-foot Double Dolphin catamaran.-Mia Taylor, TravelPulse Senior Writer.
Kimpton Canary Santa Barbara announced its new partnership with Santa Barbara Sailing Center, an all-ages sailing-centered rental, charter and bareboat facility in Santa Barbara.
Hotel guests who book the sailing trip as part of their stay at the Canary Hotel can sail around Santa Barbara's majestic coastline aboard the iconic 50-foot Double Dolphin sailing catamaran. The experience is available to corporate groups, leisure travelers and wedding parties that book the Elopement Package using the promotional code CANARY.
Santa Barbara Sailing Center is the city's premier boat charter and rental company, offering sailboat charters, whale watching, boat and kayak rental, sunset cruises, and world-class sailing instructions. The Sailing Center offers guests unforgettable sailing adventures aboard its luxurious vessels, including the 50-foot Double Dolphin sailing catamaran.
Santa Barbara Sailing Center's U. S. Coast Guard licensed captains lead guests around the Santa Barbara coastline where they can witness spectacular coastal views and local sea life, including seals, dolphins, and others depending on the time of year. The Double Dolphin sailing catamaran can be chartered by groups of up to 41 people, for two hours or more, for sailing, sunbathing, relaxing and wildlife watching.
"The Canary hotel is located just up the street from our sailing business in the Santa Barbara Harbor and working with their enthusiastic team to host guests on the water has been an absolute pleasure," said Arianna Kamp, business development specialist at Santa Barbara Sailing Center. "A stay in the heart of downtown steps away from the famed Funk Zone and a sail along the city's breathtaking coastline makes for a quintessential Santa Barbara experience that everyone should at one point get a chance to experience."
"We always strive to elevate the guest experience at the Canary and provide unforgettable offerings and amenities that capture everything our beautiful city has to offer," said Ryan Parker, general manager at Kimpton Canary Santa Barbara.
"Santa Barbara is such a tight-knit community and we love collaborating with local partners like Santa Barbara Sailing Center to showcase the authentic Santa Barbara experience to our guests. Whether wedding parties, corporate groups, or leisure travelers, we're proud to offer our guests this new unforgettable coastal sailing experience during their stay with us," added Parker.
