The largest resort casino on the West Coast has just completed a $300 million expansion designed to cement the property's reputation as a complete and refined destination experience.
Located in Temecula, California, the Pechanga Resort Casino has just completed construction of 568 additional hotel rooms, bringing its total to 1090.
The property also now offers a 25,000 square foot stand-alone day spa and salon, a 4.5-acre pool complex called The Cove; two new restaurants and another 68,000 square feet of meeting and event space for concerts, trade shows and more.
As part of the expansion, five new room types were added to Pechanga’s offerings: a 400-square-foot Deluxe Room; a 550-square-foot Junior Suite; a 650-square-foot Corner Suite; a Deluxe Room with open-air patio and Corner Suite with open-air patio.
Each of the new rooms comes with such features as 55-inch and 65-inch flat screen televisions, at least eight USB charging ports, HDMI cable, Room Cast to stream personal content to in-room flat screen TV, eco-friendly smart lighting that turns room brightness down 70-percent when not in use, button controlled hotel service and do not disturb indicators that instantly alert housekeeping staff remotely.
Additional creature comforts in the new rooms include plush robes and slippers, Keurig coffee makers and coffee, mini bar with ample space for guest food and Molton Brown bath products.
For those staying in any of the 21 Patio Rooms or Corner Suites, there's also a sound-blocking door that opens out to a personal patio enveloped by lush foliage. On the other side of the patio greenery is a fourth-floor Zen Roof showcasing rows of Native plants indigenous to the Pechanga Reservation and the nearby area, and life-sized Native-inspired art sculptures.
The new Spa Pechanga includes 17 treatment rooms, private pool with cabana massage service, state of the art fitness studio, dedicated spa pool and two indoor hydrotherapy pools, as well as a hair, nail makeup and barbering salon.
With the expansive new facility, healing becomes integral to the journey at Spa Pechanga. The native Pechanga people used flora such as white sage lavender, prickly pear and more as healing and cleansing ingredients. These natural native healers will be interwoven into the facial and body treatments at the spa.
Hotel and spa guests also have access to free yoga and boot camp classes every Saturday and Sunday starting at 9 a.m., and one-on-one fitness sessions starting at $80.
Pechanga’s massive new pool complex, The Cove, is about the same size as four football fields. It features four pools, three spas, 27 private cabanas, six water-skimming day beds and two waterslides.
The main pool is 7,500 square feet and includes 18 in-pool built-in bar stools, swim-up bar, zero edge pool and a Baja ledge for chaise lounges to sit in water. The family lagoon pool has a beach entry and two twisty waterslides, a splash pad for running through the fountains and family cabanas. There’s also a game area with three 72-inch flat screen TVs, two foosball tables, and a shuffleboard game.
