The recently rebranded Radisson Hotel Group is launching a premium collection of hotels in landmark locations.
Inspired by increasing consumer demand for individuality and more personalized experiences, The Radisson Collection is designed to bring together the finest hotels in the Radisson Hotel Group portfolio.
Fourteen hotels are already confirmed to join the collection, the company said in a statement.
"72 percent of travelers prefer to spend their money on experiences rather than material things and the Radisson Collection caters to this demand," Federico J. González, president & CEO, the Rezidor Hotel Group and chairman of the Global Steering Committee, Radisson Hotel Group, said in a statement. "The hotels that have already joined the Radisson Collection are the perfect showcase for what the brand represents: authenticity, design and exceptional service."
"Ultimately, the brand and the hotels will be defined by the people who visit them and those who serve in them," González added. "We are incredibly proud of our global debut and look forward to the continued growth of our exceptional collection globally."
Each hotel in the collection is to feel authentic to its location while also offering contemporary living. In addition, the properties will be united by exceptional design and experiences in dining, fitness, wellness, and sustainability.
All of the properties are situated in prestigious locations, close to prime leisure attractions, while also offering individual and locally authentic atmosphere, the company said.
Among the nine hotels that are already part of the Radisson Collection brand-led properties are Radisson Collection Royal Mile Edinburgh, Scotland; Radisson Collection Strand, Stockholm, Sweden; Radisson Collection San Marco, Venice, Italy; Radisson Collection Ukraine, Moscow, Russia; and Radisson Collection Paradise Resort & Spa, Sochi, Russia - to name a few.
There are also five hotel identity-led properties in the collection already. They include The May Fair London, United Kingdom, A Radisson Collection Hotel; Old Mill Belgrade, Serbia, A Radisson Collection Hotel; Symphony Style Kuwait, A Radisson Collection Hotel; Hormuz Grand Muscat, Oman; A Radisson Collection Hotel; The Emerald Grand & Spa Lagos, Nigeria, A Radisson Collection Hotel.
All of the new hotels will showcase an aspirational lifestyle with bespoke interiors and stylish design pieces, the company said.
Guest rooms will also feature Radisson Collection Sleep and Wellbeing Experiences, luxurious amenities and high-speed Wi-Fi and TV streaming.
Each hotel will also seek to offer meaningful local touches providing guests with a genuine insight into the particular destination. This will include locally curated art and sustainability programs, locally inspired food and drink offerings and suggested running paths to explore the local neighborhood.
