For the second day in a row, Winter Storm Caroline is creating travel headaches throughout Western Europe.
With as much as 11 inches of snow falling in England, Wales and Ireland, flight cancellations and ground transportation delays are still widespread as emergency personnel across the impacted areas work to clear away the winter mess.
According to AirLive.net, facilities throughout Europe like Heathrow Airport in London, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport in France all continue to deal with delays due to snow accumulation.
Other airports like Brussels Airport in Belgium and Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands remain closed due to heavy snowfall, but both will attempt to open by the end of the day with limited operations.
In total, more than 250 flights were canceled Monday and thousands more delayed.

Heavy winds from the storm system are also causing issues at other top European destinations, as Paris' Orly Airport, Charles de Gaulle Airport and Vienna International Airport are all reporting sporadic delays.
The storm is not just impacting air travel, either. ABC.net is reporting many of the main train lines and London's underground were disrupted by the storm, while several major roads including the M1 motorway were partially closed.
