A massive fight broke out at PortMiami on Monday when two groups of people were passing through the United States Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) checkpoint at the Florida cruise terminal.
According to NBCMiami.com, a video posted on social media showed two groups of people departing from a Carnival Cruise Line sailing who began to argue.
Eventually, the two sides became violent, and a massive fight broke out, with several people being punched and kicked during the incident.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Department said none of the people involved in the fight wanted to press charges over the incident.
A Carnival Cruise Line spokesperson told NBC Miami that the incident involved two “families” who were passing through the CBP following a Carnival Conquest voyage.
The cruise line announced that 16 people involved in the altercation have been placed on its “Do Not Sail” list as a result.
This is not the first time Carnival has banned passengers for fighting.
In 2025, the cruise line banned 24 passengers following a fight in the terminal, and then a couple months later they banned more passengers after a fight broke out onboard the ship.
