In a night dedicated to celebrating the best and brightest in the travel industry, Eric Bowman, Editor-in-Chief of TravelPulse, was honored with the prestigious Media Partner of the Year award at the inaugural ASTA Globes.
The award was presented during a gala celebration held at the historic Palmer House, where the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) gathered to recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the travel advisor profession.
The Media Partner of the Year award is designed to honor journalists and media figures who go above and beyond in their coverage of the travel trade. It recognizes those who not only report the news but actively advocate for the value of travel advisors, providing the insights, data, and storytelling that help the industry thrive.

Bowman’s recognition comes as a testament to his consistent dedication to the advisor community. As the voice behind the popular TravelPulse Podcast and a leader in daily industry news coverage, Bowman has spent years bridging the gap between suppliers, advisors, and consumers. His work has been instrumental in keeping advisors informed during a rapidly evolving era for travel, covering everything from complex airline mergers to the latest trends in destination marketing.
In addition to his video work and appearances in TV interviews promoting the use of travel advisors, he also created the TravelPulse 40 Under 40 awards to further amplify the work being done by the next generation of leaders in the travel industry.
